Queer Enough Book Blast was created by me, Torrance Sené. I’m a bisexual & demisexual romance and erotica author, who writes queer MF, FF, and polyam stories.
June 25, 2024 is our inaugural event. While we do plan on making this an event that happens multiple times a year, right now we have no future set dates planned. But I hope to soon!
I recently had an interaction in a Pride Month Bookfunnel promo, where the organizing author sent out an update saying that “MF books wouldn’t be well-received” because it was a PRIDE promo 🙃
I wish I could say this isn’t a common treatment BTQAI+ books receive, but after speaking to other authors and learning their experiences, unfortunately it is.
Books on the BTQAI+ side of the rainbow are constantly made to feel like writing queer characters in MF relationships (or those perceived as “MF”) aren’t queer enough to participate in promos with authors of strictly MM or FF books, or even polyam/why choose books.
This is a symptom of the wider queer community’s prejudices against MF/”MF” perceived pairings. How often do we hear things like “bi women shouldn’t bring a boyfriend to Pride”? Far too fucking often.
And I’ve had enough.
So, I decided to make a space to spotlight these books—and those books only. It seemed obvious to me to name it QUEER ENOUGH.

Queer Enough Book Blast is a new multi-author collaboration event to spotlight queer MF (and/or pairings perceived as “MF”) romance books, operated by author Torrance Sené.
